| Re: Happy Thanksgiving!!! Happy Thanksgiving. I live in Japan and there isn't a single Turkey in this entire country. When I ask people about it they say, Turkey, oh wait, isn't that that big chicken? That thing is incredible! Anyway, happy thanksgiving to everybody. It hasn't been the season we all anticipated but I guess this is the one day we can put football in proper perspective (tomorrow I go back to wanting to kill Adam Archuletta and then myself). |

| Re: Happy Thanksgiving!!! Was going to start a new thread but found this one. Any plans this year? We are heading to Philly for a dinner at house with 25 adults and 15 kids, went last year it sucks. Barely get any food, maybe have one beer (too long of a drive home), can't see the TV, and end up sitting on the floor most of the day. It sucks and it is way to many people.

| Re: Happy Thanksgiving!!! This thread could have totally been made today...then I read djnemo's post about Adam Archuletta ![]() Since we always go to my folks for Thanksgiving and there are never any leftovers (My Mom hates leftovers and has it down to a science as to how much food to make), my wife and I are having a 2nd Thanksgiving meal on Friday just so we can have leftovers. Bought a turkey boob the other day that we'll make along with stuffing, mashed taters, green bean casserole, and cranberry out of a can. Saturday I'll stuff myself full of turkey sandwiches, then going to the Skins game on Sunday.

| Re: Happy Thanksgiving!!! Happy Thanksgiving and stay safe everybody! Here's to a great day filled with turkey, football, and family/friends having a good time. I'm pretty excited, this year my dad is going to deep fry the turkey, which I've never had before. In previous years' it's always been stuck in the oven, so I can't wait to try it out. And thank goodness we're not driving anywhere this Thanksgiving, the only time driving is worse in the DMV area is around the major holidays, last year a normal half hour-10 mile commute from work to home took me over an hour and a half because of the extra traffic. |
