Re: Monk For The Hall Video Great video and I can't wait till he is in the HOF. Maybe you can forward this video to Brandon Llyod so he can take some notes?

Re: Monk For The Hall Video I have no doubts that Monk will make it into the Hall of Fame. I know that he should already be in but it is hard for players like him and John Stallworth, who it also took a while to make it in, to be voted in because they were not the flamboyant types. But, with his generation of players and fans around the nation knowing that he has been shafted for all of these years, when he is finally inducted you best believe that it is going to be something very special.

Re: Monk For The Hall Video I'm a long time reader of the warpath, but first time respondant, and I could think of no better way than to introduce myself by saying that it is nothing short of a crime that Monk has not been elected to Canton yet. Too much NY media influence, but he'll get there eventually.

| Re: Monk For The Hall Video That video brought me to tears. I remember watching the Skins with my dad and I always liked Monk. I used to go in the backyard and mimick his routes with my dad throwing me the ball. I was so pressed to make catches and tap my toes like he did. I told my wife that when he's inducted I'm going, there are about 4 guys from my job that I know of that are going. Looking at the clips I thought back to the times I spent with my dad watching those games, The Denver Super Bowl was the first one I watched by myself and it's really hard for me now as a 29 year old man to think about those times without crying or doing my best to hold tears back. My only regret is that I will not physically have my dad with me at the induction but he'll surely be in my heart. This is going to be a great day ladies and gentelmen, the ovation will be the longest ever I hope. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS !!!! HAIL ART MONK !

| Re: Monk For The Hall Video If Monk makes it, you KNOW he'll have the biggest following of any inductee in history.

Re: Monk For The Hall Video Update #2 Tom (the video creator) finally got a response from Len Shapiro. He said Len didn't say anything about the video itself. Tom then asked Len if he should send the video out to the voters and Len said, "Trust me, fan emails have been a huge turnoff. Just let us do the best we can and I suspect this could be the year." Interesting... I hope Len is right.

Re: Monk For The Hall Video I just got around to watching this and damn, a very well put together video! It was really fun to stroll down memory lane and I have to admit that I almost forgot how great Monk was. He was just a professional in every sense of the word.

Re: Monk For The Hall Video After watching this great video of Monk making so many clutch catches on 3rd down, I remember why I appreciated him so much more than even Gary Clark when both were in their heyday. Today's Skins blew it when they signed both Randle El and Lloyd. Other than Campbell's development, the final piece for the offense is a big, fast WR that makes tough catches over the middle on 3rd down. Cooley sort of plays that role for this team, but he's no Art Monk. Cooley may have dropped more balls this season than Monk did his entire career.

Re: Monk For The Hall Video Art and darrell will hopefully get inducted this year seeing how this is monk last year of ever getting a shot again because of the up coming players up for ballot. If him in darrell make it I will be there in skins burgandy and gold with tears flowing down seeing my 2 heros's get inducted. It was in honor watching them play for the short time I got to watch art and for the long time I got to see my boy darrell. God I love these guys!

Re: Monk For The Hall Video AWESOME,AWESOME.AWESOME!!! Watching this video brings back great memories of what an awesome receiver this guy was. I don't care about #'s this guy was there when the big play was needed whether it was a first down or a TD. It looks so recent that I was wish he was suiting up for Sunday's game. How Monk is not in the HOF or a first time ballot is a CRIME!! He better make it this time, I'm going to Canton and will scream till my lungs are gone, I love that guy. To me he's the best receiver ever, bar none.

Re: Monk For The Hall Video All I know is that the minute they announce Art Monk, I'm calling Comfort Inn, Canton. The HOF announced team travel packages, but who knows what that means. Another question that keeps me up at night... when Art steps up to the podium, should we opt for a 15 min standing-O or the 20? Can the band come?
