| Astronaut Charged with Attempted Murder Astronaut granted bond on*attempted*murder charge - CNN.com That's just insane. 900 miles to pepper spray somebody! I guess 900 miles is nothing for an astronaut. If she's found guilty I wonder if the punishment will be to just launch her back into space. A new form of capital punishment-float in space. They could go up in the shuttle and just push her out the door...

| Re: Astronaut Charged with Attempted Murder I don't understand why they gave her the attempted murder charge. It seems like an easy charge to beat given the fact that she only possessed a BB gun. It would be extremely difficult to kill someone with a BB gun. My wife and I were discussing it and we think she's a prime candidate for suicide attempt. Her career is over, her family life is over, and she's constantly being ridiculed by the media. If she kirked out over being cheated on, I can't wait to see how she's going to handle the pressure she's under now.

(I know we already talked about that last part, but I don't want people to forget that she was wearing Opps! I Crapped My Pants for 900 miles)
