| Marion Jones fails to qualify for 100m. Here's my guess...she had to stop doping because of all the allegations. Not only does she not win, she comes in fifth...That in my opinion suggests that there might be some truth to all the allegations. I was a the yankee game last night...watching Giambi was interesting...He swings like the bat is too heavy. I bet he had to stop the drugs also.. Just my |

| I think Marion Jones hasn't had time to focus on the races and train for the races because she's been spending the last month trying to defend her reputation even though she's never failed a test

| the steroid usage in baseball is rediculous. what do u guys think about barry bonds and sammy sosa. I hate baseball, but i am still interested in the steroid deal. i think that barry and sammy both had to use some supplement, if u compare their bodys in their earlier years to now. they were skinny and fast, and now are huge, its crazy. |

| Not to accuse him but Michael Jordan also got "huge" during the past decade but there's ever been any speculation there Bonds and Sosa (and I'm sure countless others) probably did use performance-enhancing supplements. And I believe they've even said as much. But that doesn't necessarily mean steroids. And, while I don't know the truth, what they used might be illegal now but not illegal back then (ephedra?). If they continue to use an illegal substance that's a problem but if they did when it was legal and don't anymore then it's not an issue. Bottom line Bonds has the reputation of being a jerk and most everyone will see him as guilty regardless. It's a shame, but it's reality

| Well Bonds has always been considered great, but it was more of a "balanced" greatness when he was getting 30-40 homeruns and 30-40 stolen bases a year

| I never really considered him great. Cuz I mean when he was with the Pirates I thought Bobby Bonilla was better than him. I know I was probably in the minority on that plus before 1991 the only team I paid attention too were the Mets, so I didn't even know Bonds had won an MVP before last year, which should have gone to Pujols. |
