GODDAMN! Basedow makes me crack up. Question, does anyone think he's made ANY cash? I mean seriously, I can't even see chicks buying it to look at him. He looks fake as hell and has the worst possible haircut.

On topic, I'd imagine the best place to pick up a chick is the classes, whether it's spin or aerobics. Just observe who goes into what classes, and just pop into the next one.

Off topic, John Basedow is to workouts as Tracy Jordan is to indoor grill machines.

I've always thought that. It's like the majority of the budget for his commercials has to be special effects or something, because he SURE as hell doesn't put any into the graphics.

You are correct sir. A friend of mine convinced me to do a pilates class a while back and we were the only guys in the class. Since we were stronger, we were able to do the advanced crap a lot better than most of the women, so we constantly had girls asking us to show them how to do stuff. I never tried to close the deal with any of them, but it's a lot easier to do so when a woman initiates a conversation with you.

I don't think I've ever successfully "picked up" a chick anywhere...but the gym always seemed like a horrible place to begin a conversation...plus, like someone else said, if it failed, then you'd always have to see the person when you went to work out
