Tecmo tournament
Anyone interested in getting a small Tecmo Super Bowl tournament or league going here?

My only requirement is that you have a high speed connection, otherwise the lag makes it a crappy experience.

If you're interested just post here. Here's everything you would need to get started.

Nesticle - NES emulator

Tecmo Super Bowl ROM - the original game

How to connect/host a game:

Instructions for the Host

Get your IP Address (at the top of the page)
Give your opponent the IP.
In Nesticle, start your server. To do this, use the menu and select 'Net > Start Server'.
Select the 'TCP/IP' option.
Hit the Start Server button.

VERY IMPORTANT: Open your chat window. It is important to have the chat window open during game play. Just move it off to the side or bottom. The chat window is in the 'Net' menu.

Instructions for the Connecting Player

Copy the host's IP address (higlight the number and press Ctrl-C)
Open Nesticle and go to the 'Net' menu.
Select 'Connect' from the menu.
Select the 'TPC/IP' option.
Paste the host's IP (press Ctrl-V)

VERY IMPORTANT: Open your chat window. It is important to have the chat window open during game play. Just move it off to the side or bottom. The chat window is in the 'Net' menu.

I edited my original post with more info.

Use this to find your IP.

It's also a good idea to use AIM in order to chat back and forth prior to setting up a game. Let's share our AIM names here, mine is kyerm72

I think we should limit a tournament to maybe 12 players or so, just so some people don't get stuck with a shit team.

I figure once we have the field set, we can have a draft to pick our teams.
