| Re: Merged: The Movies Thread caught Old Dogs tuesday,not great but not as bad as the critics made it out to be. Pulled double duty tonite and went and saw Shitty Island,I mean Shutter Island,it was just ok to me,I didnt think it was that great and judging by other peoples comments I heard leaving I wasnt alone.Came home and watched Up in the Air,didnt really like the ending that much for reasons I wont say cause I dont want to spoil it for somebody,but overall it was a good movie,I liked it better than Shutter Island

| Re: Merged: The Movies Thread I finally watched the hangover. It was good. I had Jaiger-flash-backs. That's the thing about Jaiger or Southern Comfort. You start to drink em and then you wake up in county lock up, naked. What happened? Jaiger happened.

I was really waiting for this movie and I thought it was goi nto be funny as hell and it was at the start when he discovers how to lie but midway to the movie specially all about marriage i tought it got so forced and it lost the way. It started interesting, funny and diferent and it ending in another romantic comedy that don't know how to end it but they force the endign at the end.... the idea was great.. and thre are a lot of funny moments in it but for me a let down | |

| Re: Merged: The Movies Thread a great movie from last Year is Funny People with adam sandler I like him more i nthis type of dramedys roles great story about friendship, finding yourself, overcoming obstacles and letting go.... for me one of the best of last year and funny as hell.... anotehr good of Adam from a few years ago is Reign Over me great great story |

Funny People? Not only are you horrible at picking an NFL team to cheer for you suck at picking movies. Funny People was probably one of the worst movies I saw in 2009. Last night started watching Band of Brothers on Blu Ray, just beautiful.
