And so after over three years, I finally approach my 2000th post. I realize that given some of the more prolific posters around here <cough> Earthquake <cough> that does not seem like a great deal. But, in light of the celebration of round numbers, I thought I might wax poetic for a moment. Of course, being slightly-off, I choose to do so on my 1999th post as opposed to the more mundane 2000th. I would like to thank everyone, and especially the mods, for making this the only Skins page I visit regularly. Although I am member of other boards, I have posted more on the Buc's website (from which I am now banned I think - Thanks TB Mod III) than on any other Skins board. I have met several members and look forward to getting together again with you. Others I will hopefully meet at somepoint in the future (Smoot - I still owe you a six pack from last year's opening day!). I enjoy the spirited and, more importantly, intelligent discussions that take place on this board and the general integrity with which they are conducted. A special thanks to all the moderators (even you TMC) for their hard work in maintaining the site and keeping the a**holes <cough>Schneed<cough> and redheads in check. (J/k you two, nothing but love for you both - really). Given that I reside deep in the heart of Raven country, it is an incredible pleasure to be able to come online and share the joy and misery that being a Redskins fan neccessarily entails. This place is truly my home when it comes to sharing my Skins' passion (that's either a really cool thing or sadly pathetic - I'll go with the former). We're like a big quirky family and I thank you for letting me be part of it.

Congrats Joe. I enjoy reading your opinions, they're always insightful. Your 2000 posts are worth more than 50,000 posts of some other folks around here. As for me being the asshole, glad to do it. Sometimes making the site better ain't about being nice. I'm just that voice that says what many are thinking.
