| Re: Touch IPod I've used the iPhone, which is a superset of the Touch's functionality. It's VERY slick. The web browser is very cool, too.

| Re: Touch IPod Definitely looks pretty cool. I think the touch interface will eventually replace the click wheel as the standard on all iPods. |

| Re: Touch IPod Depends on your needs. If you just need to play your MP3s and iTunes music and videos, iPod kills the Archos. If you are downloading video, have DRM WMA files, then the Archos is a good choice. The Archos is a lot bigger than the iPod, although it has twice the storage at 70% the price. However, the interface on the Archos is a bit kludgy, and like everything non-iPod, doesn't support DRM AAC.

| Re: Touch IPod My parents both have iPhones, and I've used the iPod features quite a bit. I've played with the Archos and read some reviews, but I don't own one. For what you are describing, the Archos would probably be a better fit. Bigger screen, AVI support (DivX, I assume?), DVR. However, it isn't going to fit in your pocket, and it won't support iTunes. For some people one or both of those are deal killers.

| Re: Touch IPod I have a buddy that bought the archos and it was a complete disaster for him, he ended up returning it and getting an iPod. That's just one person's experience though, obviously. |
