| F...I mean, F...being on hold! There may be on a thread on this already, if so please merge. But damn, I'm trying to get through to Kaiser P. to find out the results from my herpes test, and I can't get a damn sole on the line! Instead, they're telling me where to get flu shots in P.G. county if I'm pregnant! Are you serious? Flu shot if I'm pregnant?!! While I'm at it, if any of you have a Citibank account, great on convenience...not so great on customer service. Without fail you'll get someone in Bombay who will put you on hold after verifying your SSN#, your birthdate, your mother's maiden name and shoe size while she was in grade school...it's ridiculous!!! I can't think of one place nowadays where they don't put you hold, it's so annoying. I called my daughter on her cell phone, and she put me hold! I'm losing it!!! |

A few months ago I was having some trouble with my bank so I had to call them a bunch of times and at one point I got so pissed with being on hold/trying to navigate my way through the automated crap that I chucked the cordless phone across the room...and right into a huge painting on the wall. There was broken glass everywhere. AND, the phone hung up, which meant I had to call back and start over. So that wasn't fun.

Its usually a Politcal campaign thing or some policemans charity but the call usually goes like this Me: Hello? Machine: Your call has been placed on hold. Please be patient. What!!!!!???!! Its not my ****ing call you motherf@$#%s. It only keeps me on hold for a couple of seconds but this really pisses me off. I usually wait until a real person comes on and totally berate them. And of course they always mispronouce my name. That always gets them a big F U! |
