| Madden 08 help Its not really a detailed question or anything. I'm well into year 2012 and there's a new player (name doesnt matter of course) but there's a little bomb symbol next to his name on the player management screen. I've looked everywhere and I can't figure out what the bomb is supposed to mean. Anyone know?

| Re: Madden 08 help ive heard that if you draft a player and between 2-4 years after you draft him he dramatically exceeds expectations he gets a gem symbol, and if he doesn't he gets a bomb to represent a bust... I havent comfirmed that but thats what I read on a madden forum once... there was another guy that said it was an explosive player, but I doubt that since it doesn't show up until a few years into your franchise...

| Re: Madden 08 help The bullet is for cannon arm QB. I've seen both, the bomb goes to the underachiever/bust and the gem goes to the overachiever/producer. I've only had gems come up on late round picks and had a bomb next to Darren McFadden after I kept running Clinton during sims. I'm pretty sure that it means your guy could be a bust.

| Re: Madden 08 help I was wondering that myself but I just saw a bomb on a QB, number 3 pick in the draft, but he's a rookie, and the leader in the ROY award category. |
