| Which is the better place to live...? Just looking for a little input from those of you who've lived in the Chicago area, Iowa, or both. My wife is applying to PA schools north of Chicago (actually closer to the Wisconsin border) and in Iowa City. I haven't visited either place yet and am curious to know what to expect. Any kind of input will be appreciated.

| Re: Which is the better place to live...? if you're north of chicago close to the wis. border... i really liked milwaukee when i was there for a week. chicago proper sucks. portland is a big contractor town, but its over run with bums, cause the local gov is almost as generous and san fransisco i guess...
