| Re: 'Generation Kill' offers insider look at the Iraq war I watched it. IT was a little slow but they are building the story. I am going to re-watch it tonight during dinner. I was actually a little lost at times. If you have HBO on-demand they have a whole bunch of videos on each charactor. |

| Re: 'Generation Kill' offers insider look at the Iraq war I finally watched the first episode on demand and was very impressed. I think the show really captures the way these different personalities came together as a unit. The one thing that the book has, and I'm hoping the show goes into this more in later episodes, is the detailed back stories of the various characters. That's what I remembered the most from the book: the way characters from all walks of life were able to unite and thrive as a military unit and a fraternity. |
