Seriously though, that's unfortunate for them. I don't know any of them but they all seem like decent folk and they run a solid site. Differences among moderators are to be expected but hopefully these guys can work through them.

And if they're playing everyone...bravo!

Sucks for HailRedskins.com. I guess that can be expected when you have problems between the Admins. I don't go there as this is my Redskins forum of choice, but good luck to them all the same.

hailRedskins.com was the first message board style website I joined...and ended up coming here and staying here because of the camaraderie and the simplicity of the site. hR is a good solid site, and I wish them nothing but the best. I also wish Mark and Tom the best of luck in whatever they decide to do.

I've known Mark going back to the Yahoo Club days of this site. We briefly worked on a Redskins site together until I realized I missed The Warpath too much, I went back to doing this and he started up hail redskins. Hopefully everything will work out for both parties.

I just thought about this interesting aspect of it. From what it looks like, PSF and Spence were both admins/at the top of the food chain there. I'm guessing PSF/Spence was the former owner and not somebody who rose up the ranks to the top. Now, maybe, maybe not, my viewpoint is wrong, but if somebody is the owner of the site, shouldn't they have final say over everything? He owned that site for 10 years, and now he's being ousted? If I owned a site for 10 years and built it up to what Hail Redskins has become, I wouldn't give it up over some differences with some moderators. I know the moderators would have a say in everything but it seems like a power struggle to me, and in the end the Admin should have the final say. It might seem unfair to the moderators but the moderators only achieved that position by earning the trust/respect of the admins.

Now I will admit I have no idea what happened over there, from reading that thread it looks like a power struggle between PSF/Spence and the other mods/admins on that site. If they weren't forced to leave and they chose to leave on their own then my point is moot because an owner of a site is free to do that anytime they please, but if they were forced out because the other mods didn't like their opinion then that seems ridiculous to me.

On a side note... I became a member of this board partly because of hailredskins. I was specifically searching for their site one day when I happened to stumble upon this one.

I then found myself stuck in the void of the Warpath and couldn't leave. You guys have taken two years off my life. I hope you're happy!
