| Re: Lipstick On A Pig Pfft. This isn't a presidential race, it's a three ring circus. All this he said, she said, sounds like a bunch of high schoolers running for student body president. By time the general elections come, party lines are going to be so huge you're going to need a boat to get across it. I can't wait till the end of this crap.

| Re: Lipstick On A Pig The Democratic Party has a whole team of people pouring over tapes and transcripts to find some Republican saying something they can construe as a racist, but now they want to stick to the issues. It looked to me like the audience in Virginia took it to be a Palin reference based on their reaction. Why would you whoop and cheer for a worn out cliche like that unless you thought it was an attack line. Also, remember Obama's rationale for not taking public financing? He said he needed the extra cash to deal with the attacks from GOP 527s. Well, the Atlantic Monthly is now reporting that the Obama campaign has told their sympathetic 527s (MoveOn, ACT, etc) to do their worst. They are in absolute meltdown over there.

| Re: Lipstick On A Pig Quote:
If you're serious about accusing a VP candidate of saying these things, I would come up with a better link than an obscure left-wing blog with "Lucille" the waitress and "people who know her" as the sources for this info. On the "lipstick on a pig" thing, pure political play. I hope the debates are substantive and not this type of junk.

| Re: Lipstick On A Pig Don't these guys have people writing their speeches for them, or at the very least proof read it? They didn't think that maybe that could be spun in any way???? That being said, I have the utmost confidence that the comment was made with no ill intent. This is a case of the right over reacting. But with all the dirt that has been slung by the left, and all the cheap shots, and the propaganda, you can't blame the right for being a little sensitive.

| Re: Lipstick On A Pig The Republicans remind me of the bully on the playground that pushes everyone around, but as soon as someone fights back the bully runs and tells the teacher. |

| Re: Lipstick On A Pig That's kind of funny, I feel it's the exact opposite. The Dems can throw whatever they want, and use massive propoganda to their advantage (it's everywhere, look at NBC and ABC...look at ESPN pushing obama but not even inviting McCain for example...shit, they even fight each other, clinton vs obama) they can throw whatever mud they want, and whenever someone fights back a little or sees something else in a comment, they stand up and go "what???" The Dems invented this process, not the republicans. So your comment would be right as long as you switch Republicans with Democrats.

| Re: Lipstick On A Pig In my opinion, neither party invented, or has a monopoly on, lies, dirty tricks, etc. Sometimes one party tends to be a little better at lying, cheating, stealing etc. but both parties would steal candy from a baby if it meant their candidate would win the election. |
