| Re: Vice Presidential Debate Thread I'd say that for the first time debating on a national stage that she's doing a great job. Granted, I had very low expectations. One thing to remember is that Biden ran for President and during that time had plenty of time to think about the issues concerning the presidency and how to best express them. Palin has only had, what, 6 weeks to align her views with McCain?

Each had their scripts/talking points and stuck to them question be damned. Again, this "debate" changed nobody's mind. And, for god's sake, could we please have a seminar for Republican candidates on how to pronounce "nuclear".

However, she spoke in such ridiculous generalities that it was almost to the point of, "I'm going to go to Washington and do a bunch of really good things." I felt like Biden did a much better job of articulating his points.
