| New Xbox Live Has anyone tired it? I downloaded it last night and f-ed around with it for a bit but I have a sick kid at home right now so little time for fun. It seemed pretty cool and my avatar came out cool. It was almost like Xbox is getting a little Wii like on us. Anybody try the Netflix portion?

| Re: New Xbox Live I got the update...I'm not sold on the usability of it yet because I'm use to the old one. I tried Netflix and it's pretty good as far as playing movies goes. Netflix's streaming movie collection leaves much to be desired though.

| Re: New Xbox Live I can get pretty much the same shit through Netflix so it makes the movie/show marketplace worthless.

| Re: New Xbox Live Well you can watch the netflix on your tv instead of your comput and yes I know i can output my laptop to my tv, it is just easier. SS, I once bought a movie and the voice was off so I have not since plus the DL is too long. Redbox is my way to go now a days.

| Re: New Xbox Live ive downloaded several movies in the past... before i got a ps3 it was the only way I could watch HD movies on my TV. It worked well several times I tried it, and the last time i tried an HD movie it took overnight to download. I've watched a few regular movies since with no prolbems beyond the initial buffer, though. I havent had my xbox hooked up at home in a week (set up rockband at the inlaws... playing madden on ps3) so I havent seen the new live. I was really looking forward to Home on ps3, but that looks like a total bust.

| Re: New Xbox Live What I want to see is if weather or not the new OS or interface (whatever it's called) will allow me to play .avi movies when I link my computer and XBOX with Windows Media Center. Still in the meantime I wonder if Nintendo is preparing a lawsuit as the new avatar's seem remarkebly similar to the ones seen on Wii.
