GREENFIELD, Calif. -- Police have arrested a Greenfield man for allegedly arranging to sell his 14-year-old daughter into marriage in exchange for $16,000, 100 cases of beer and several cases of meat.

My wife and I got shirts on our honeymoon (I'll have to dig the photos out soon) from Crazy Shirts, one is beer-dyed saying "Will Sell Wife For Beer" and the other is chocolate-dyed saying "Will Sell Husband For Chocolate". I've worn that shirt our numerous times, and have yet to receive a solid offer, so if you can get $16, a 6er of PBR and a hot dog (preferably a half-smoke), I'd take it...

I think the man would have ultimately regretted this decision even if he had been paid in full. 100 cases of beer isn't as much as it sounds like.

Your right. It equals 2400 beers and if you drank a 12 pack everynight it would only last 28 1/2 days. Not even a month and while your drunk you spend all that money on stupid stuff so its gone too.
