You know you're a redneck when...

Back in the mid 80's I played in a country band. We had this job to play at this wedding and let me tell you these families were about as redneck as they come. The wedding was in NC and in the middle of no where. Well the wedding and reception went fine and the bride and groom left in some big 4x4 and thats when things went bad. These two women started pushing each other and before you knew it a fight broke out and the two families started fighting. It was a trip watching guys go at each other and even grandmothers where fighting with each other. We just stood on the stage pushing people away from our equipment. Finally the cops came and arrested several people but they snaged the guy who had our money. I thoought for a minute the cop was going to throw me in jail as I tried to talk to him about getting our money and finally he let the guy go so he could pay us. I talked to another cop and he said these families hate each other and he was surprised they made it through the wedding before trouble broke out. HE also said they had a freind at the wedding who was watching for trouble and they had extra cops on hand to respond.

Awesome. The one great things about rednecks is they let you know how they feel. There is no "hanging on in quiet desperation".

This thread reminds me of that Jeff Foxworthy "You know you're a redneck when..." skit. My favorite- you know you're a redneck when you mow your lawn and find a car.

I think it depends, 1) Is she crazy hot? 2) Is it a passing thought or are you contemplating it for some time.

I mean, if my cousin looked like Megan Fox, the appropriate question might be "are you a homosexual if you haven't thought about it." Regardless of the hotness factor, and IMHO, however, if the thought is not promptly dismissed, you may be a redneck...

She's alright looking. She's just a stuck up b that thinks her stuff doesn't stink. The thought of giving her a pearl necklace just seems like justice. The thought has come up from time to time but it's nothing that I dwell on. Besides, she's my second cousin so it should be cool right?
