No doubt....Disney is NOT cheap, but they KNOW what they are doing. They go to GREAT extremes to make you have a good time. You will love the Wilderness campground. Much for you and the little ones to do. I stayed there with my kids a few years ago. Got to see a night Shuttle launch from D-world.......cool

Unfortunately my wife isn't a fan of Disney World otherwise we'd be there all the time...I love the place and I've been dying to go back. I haven't been since 2004 but before that I went every other year at least

When I worked for Disney we got free passes each year. You should get them as well working at ESPN.

I haven't been in years so I am looking forward to it. With a week we can take our time too and we don't have to jam everything into just a few days. I have heard the campgrounds are fun. My daughter will love getting to take a boat to the parks.

Exactly! We get free passes, and other discounts galore. Yet she'd rather we spend thousands to go to Europe. I tell we can go to Epcot for free and see the world!!!

Re: Summer Vacation Plans and Stories

Well I just took my first mini vaction down in Myrtle Beach and we had a blast. It was 16 guys down for some golf, cold beer and lots of fun. I played my best golf in some time and won enough money to pay for my room and my 4 days of golf.

So how was it? Bet the kids went crazy!

I am curious how the weather was, as well as the crowds? We go next week and I know my kids, particularly my daughter, are all psyched.

No vacation for me this year, my wife is due to have our 2nd any day now. This summer will be adjusting to a new baby.

I'll be looking forward to next year's vacation like crazy!

I'll be spending a month in SE Asia this year. Flying into Bangkok then heading to Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. Traveling alone as always so no real itinerary or even plan. Just show up and see where the wind takes me.

Summer vacations are what's wrong with this country. We're too lazy as it is. Vacations and homos are bringing us down!
