I guess the positive spin on Microsoft sucking is just think of how many IT/tech jobs have been created due to Microsoft/Windows products being so clunky and inefficient.
It means you send it back to MS if it's still under their warranty, or you better hope you bought a replacement plan at the store. If not, then it's time to sell it broken on ebay for parts.

Re: F... Bill Gates...

Like you said, you and he have a business relationship. Sounds like he got you squared away, and when done right, that's worth a lot.

the original units had horrible cooling as well too, which they attempted to fix I think by a newer heatsink, they're suffering the same problems as a lot of laptops, trying to make things too sleek, slim, and powerful at the same time, without new technology

Or attempt a fix of it yourself by replacing the x-clamps with screws and washers + new thermal paste

holy shit

half of that could build you one hell of a machine capable of doing anything you wanted

5500 would get you a computer that could do some serious crunching, decoding, etc and a 50 inch TV to use as a monitor

Yo mama's so fat, she wore a Malcom X tee shirt and a helicopter tried to land on her.

Yo mama's so dumb, she thought a cheerio was a donut seed.

11k? 5.5K? WTF? Is he selling you a server or a workstation? You can buy the most amazing machine and 30" monitor form Dell for 3K.

Oh I thought he was trying to sell you just 1 machine for 11k. ~5K for 4 workstations isn't bad.
