| Re: TV Pitchman Billy Mays Dead at 50 There was a very small but fierce storm that rolled through on Friday evening in the Bethesda/Chevy Chase/NW DC area. A gigantic branch from a tree right at the intersection of Connecticut Ave and East-West Highway fell and crushed a mini-van, killing a woman and a young child, and injuring a few other kids in the van. Very sad. A strange morbid week indeed.
