This is the funny part my feet normally don't stink but with sandles they do. They suggest this: Shoe it away. Choose open shoes such as sandals whenever possible, because they allow air onto the feet, which helps evaporate sweat and slows the growth of odor-causing bacteria. If sandals aren't an option, choose leather or canvas shoes, which breathe a bit, and avoid shoes that are lined with solid rubber or synthetic materials. I may just stick to sneakers.

| Re: Foot Odor This reminded me of a funny story... One time some friends came over to my house, and there was a guy I'd never met before with them. I have people take off their shoes in my house, so I told everyone to do so. This guy says if he takes off his flip-flops his feet will smell, and I'm thinking, "Whatever, you're wearing flip-flops!" Turns out he was right. I've never smelled worse feet, and having the flip-flops on made all the difference in the world.

| Re: Foot Odor Doesn't silver kill foot odor causing bacteria? If so, problem solved. Buy some expensive silverware, and tape a spoon to your foot. Seriously though, i've bought some dress shoes in the past that had a silver insert sewn into the insole. Maybe there's some sandals with a similar feature? |

| Re: Foot Odor mredskins, the part about your foot odor being able to "drop a horse" cracked me up. Seriously though, go see a dermatologist. When I was in high school I had an issue with excessive perspiration. I tried every different kind of anti-perspirant imaginable, and I still would sweat through my shirts every day. The dermatologist gave me some perscription stuff that worked really well. Fortunately these days I get by just fine with good old Sure. Anyway, you should consider it.
