When I had to prevent my wife from attempting to purchase one I had to point out that she already owns a few bathrobes. Then she attempted to purchase one again (once she realized how much I loathe them) just out of spite. I had to threaten her with the thought that I would significantly reduce her purchasing power if she went through with the order.

I could maybe see using it if I were sick, but that's about the only time I would be wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. I'm never that cold in my house, women must be cold blooded I swear.
