| Re: NAACP to march for Michael Vick Seriously though this is really stupid. One organization really needs to tone down it's efforts while the other doesn't really have much reason to exist anymore. I don't have a single black or latino friend that thinks the NAACP needs to be around anymore. I mean maybe if they just stayed around as an organization to preserve history from the civil rights movement and in the meantime raised money for charity however their main spiel seems to be more about telling everybody how racist they are and in the meantime raising money by suing people. In fact they're considered one of the worst non-profits in the country "The non-profit rating organization Charity Navigator lists the NAACP as #7 on their list of "10 Highly Paid CEOs at Low-Rated Charities".[30] Charity Navigator rates the NAACP's finances at zero out of four stars, in part because only 52.8% of the NAACP expenditures go towards programs, with the rest going towards administration and fund raising.[31]" I equate the NAACP to modern day militia's in the US. Sure they were useful during the Revolutionary War but now they're borderline crazy.

On the other hand, it'd be great if Vick himself said "You know what, I am getting a second chance. A chance that not many people would get...so I don't need this chapter of the NAACP or anyone else standing up for me when I'm already getting what they're demanding I get."
