Re: NFL Network Red Zone

I like my expensive ticket, otherwise I wouldn't get to see all 16 games.

No, you have to pay an extra $50 to get it.

There are two versions now, DirecTV's which is the original, and now NFL Network's.
I had direct tv and the ticket about two years ago and I watched the red zone channel over there and let me say that this nfl network one is VERY different. Its MUCH MORE faster paced then the Direct tv one. The commentator for direct tv sounds alot like the white house press secretary. Whereas, the nfl network guy sounds like he is addicted to red bulls and caffeine. Its much more exciting and it keeps you focused, keeps you pumped, and keeps you excited. Plus, he'll fill you in on games that he just flipped you too. The direct tv one won't do that.

Well put! It is a pretty awesome channel. Given the choice of having all 16 games on or Red Zone channel (Comcast Version), I am taking the Red Zone. You don't miss anything!

That's a good thing?

DTV, they'll flip to a game and brief you on what's going on. Not sure what you mean exactly.

They will do stuff like this on Comcast Red Zone.

"Ok lets take you to the Loins game Matt Stafford has looked strong on this current drive but it is now 3rd and 10 lets see what this first round pick is made of."

"Now we are at the Saints game, Drew Brees has been on fire all day, on this current drive he is going for his career high sixth TD pass in a game."

um yeah, ok I was not arguing which was better simply saying what happens on the Comcast Redzone, don't worry you and DirecTV Ticket are still highly superior to us Comcast folks.

Re: NFL Network Red Zone

I'm not saying that one is better than the other, just that they basically offer the same thing, which Miller was trying to say they don't.

My lord

Re: NFL Network Red Zone

It's the same shit, one is DirectTV and the other NFL Network. The question is what do they do when no one is in the Redzone?

Re: NFL Network Red Zone

Despite the name they don't just take you to games where a team is actually in the red zone.

ohhhh.........................uhhhhh.............. .........I don't remember him doing that when I watched him a couple years ago. I could have sworn they just took you to a game and said, "Here" or "Its the chiefs and Panthers playing" Or something like that. I mean, it was just boring to listen too and the channel was just kind of boring to watch. Thats on Direct TV anyway. The NFL Network one was much more exciting; at least for me it was. Yeah, they offer the "same thing", but the NFL Network Red Zone is BETTER then the Direct TV one. I mean, when a timeout is called they'll switch you to another game and then switch you back when that other game resumes. And the commentator keeps filling you in as all this is going on..................Just picture this, A team is driving and they get the ball in the red zone. Its exciting! They're about to score! Then.........TIMEOUT! We got to talk about this for a minute. You won't sit there and wait for a minute. They'll flip you to another game and then fill you in with the details. Like, "This is Staffords first two minute drill lets see how he does." And then the drive ends or the timeout is over and he'll flip you back to the previous game.

Its very fast paced and very exciting. I just didn't get that with Direct TV's version. And thats why I said they were different, but I should have used the word 'better', because the NFL Network one is better than Direct TV's.
