Don't be so partisan and close-minded. President Obama and the Democrats do not have your wallet or your health in consideration with the Healthcare plan. Try reading a book or speaking with a little knowledge of the person instead of relying on Jon Stewart and Keith Olberman for your opinions of people you are told you're not supposed to agree with. Sure Beck looks a bit unhinged at times, but don't mistake insanity with passion and a desire to save the nation. He's been right on countless statements recently from Van Jones to Cash for Clunkers and he's said things before anyone else, with the facts to back it up.

Re: Freedom of the Press/free speach and destruction of capitalism I don't agree with Beck that the President could be racist . However , Obama did make the comments , people wont vote for me because I don't look like the guys on the dollar bill , and people from the south are bitter , sitting on their porches , with a bible in one hand and a gun in the other ? Hopefully the stupid comments < or stupidly > will stop so this country can move on and continue to improve .

Re: Freedom of the Press/free speach and destruction of capitalism Which part is disagreeable? He didn't call him a murderer or rapist or something. He said he was a racist. Lots of good people are called racists. Some even are racist. Why is it ok for some people to call other people racist and but not others? I'm not really agreeing with him I just didn't think it was a big deal at all. Hell I'd be more interested or riled up if he called him a liar or womanizer. We're all racist to some degree. We all see ethnicity and make pre-judgements and/or are predisposed to act in certain ways. It is human nature. I'd say it is the level and type of predisposition and pre-judgement that determines the perniciousness.

| Re: Freedom of the Press/free speach and destruction of capitalism you call my posts dumb. it would upset you more if Obama was a womanizer, than a racist? he is about as much a racist, as old W. remember when all the liberals piled on Bush, after Katrina? i didnt buy that bunch of bunk either

Re: Freedom of the Press/free speach and destruction of capitalism Hey whats up Dmek ? As far as Katrina , every level of Gov't could have done more . As I understand only the governors can mandate/order an evacuation , the state should have , as well FEMA could have also been much more efficient.

Re: Freedom of the Press/free speach and destruction of capitalism That was my point. Racism is both inherent in humans to some degree and I don't subscribe to the notion that it can ever be eradicated. A key way humans learn is by identifying differences. We see color and it means something because it is a difference. We also act based on our perceptions. Now most people have an enlightened conscious character that keeps their racism from being an entirely negative thing. I hear Beck say Obama is a racist based on things he's said and done and I agree with everything he said. I just don't believe Obama harbors any negative perceptions of white people. He does see differences and he does act differently based on that like everyone else does. But he isn't racist in the more generally accepted term. He doesn't unfairly treat white and black people different. I wasn't very clear in my last post on that. I basically meant that Obama is human and I don't think he is racist in the generally accepted way. But I also think what Beck said had merit at some level. Obama did say things that showed he holds different standards maybe for different ethnicities. But so what?
