| Can a tax increase for California be far behind? Since I question the motives of most politicians, that was my first thought when I read about them raising the withholding amounts It certainly seems like a new way to accomplish the same old plan. Yes this year people will get a refund, but since it has no end date, it seems like the state will simply raise taxes to match what is being taken in, and suddenly no refund the following year. Not to mention that last year the state had to issue vouchers for a while didn't it? Government has got to learn to restrain itself, somehow... |
