| Re: Man bulldozes home ahead of foreclosure I think it sounds pretty stupid and it also does not sound like he is telling the whole story. He said the bank claimed the house as collateral but they can only do that if he puts the home up as collateral (unless maybe the bank had taken him to court and won some type of judgment). He also says the IRS put a lein on his home when his brother sued him which I'm guessing his brother won. The IRS can only put liens on property if you have back taxes. The court can put a lien on a home if he was found to owe his brother money but not the IRS. I betting he now gets arrested for some type of vandalism because the bank also owned the home. I'd say this gets voted dumb a$$ of the month award. |

| Re: Man bulldozes home ahead of foreclosure LOL . I remember a divorce case in California < 1980-1981 > , where the court ruled that the Mrs. got half of the property < community law > . The Mrs. , excited that she won the judgment celebrated by going to Hawaii for two weeks . The husband contacts an attorney and asks him if he can tear the house down as his name was on the title . He was told there was nothing illegal about tearing "his" home down . On the day Mrs comes home , she arrives in a cab , only to see a bulldozer sitting on the front lawn in front of the wrecked home . When the press < who he called earlier that day to film it live > asked him about losing the home , he said " I can make money , lots of it " , she is lazy , she will never make it ...and the look on her face was WELL worth it . |
