Not sure I really dig the idea of simplifying the playcalling. I guess that's good for the casual fans, but I'll probably turn that mode off.

The dual stick control definitely sounds interesting.

I'm in the exact same boat.

I prefer the HC/GM side of playing Madden more than I've ever liked playing the games.

I actually kind of like this idea. I always LOVED playing Madden, but hated the fact that it took over an hour to play 1 game....hopefully this makes it more fun.

That's actually a pretty good point, if I'm destroying a team, I may just turn that mode on and roll through the rest of the game

EDIT: I know that point's made in the article, but I just though of this

I thought of it this way, instead of playing madden as the head coach when it came to play calling you are playing as the QB, the sideline calls in the play if you like it roll with it if not audible out. Apparently the play is called to you through your head set just like a QB gets it in his helmet.

Isn't this basically a spruced up version of "ask Madden"?

We'll see how it goes, I'm not against the idea. Looks like it could be fun as long as the AI works right. You can vote on plays you like or don't like so it will be called more or less often.

I really hope they pick franchise mode. I always enjoyed picking players and creating a team more than playing games as well.

Get rid of the fumble scrum shit...I never get those fumbles when playing in All Madden difficulty.

Yeah the fumble scrum sucks, but you can turn that off you know.

I hope they get rid of those measuring for the 1st down cut screens or at least let you skip through them when they come up.

But duuuude...now you don't have to go to a menu and pick "Ask Madden."

Yeah I despise those, they should allow you to skip them.

I also hope they fixed the hurry up offense while you're in shotgun. It's really stupid now, you have to wait for the QB to kick up his leg twice before you can snap the ball. I hate it.

Also during kickoff, you should be able to cycle through your players when you're kicking the ball.

Oh really? Damn, wish I had known that.

and get rid of the game intro and warm up shit so I don't have to press X ten times to get to the game.
