| Drink or not to Drink We have not had many fun threads in the parking lot for awhile. Thought I give it a shot with this one. A generally rule in my office is Friday lunch is a liquid one. My Friday afternoons in the summer are just a complete waste and you need a little help getting through them. Anyone else partake?

| Re: Drink or not to Drink You mean drinking at the office or drinking during lunch break? Unfortunately our corporate culture heavily frowns upon it, nobody does it. But I've had a beer with lunch before. But (unfortunately) never enough to tie one on and make work more fun! |

| Re: Drink or not to Drink Never drank at lunch and wouldn't want to. Similar kind of thing as Schneed. However I did have to work on New Years Eve and we had beer in the office. Partook then.

| Re: Drink or not to Drink Serving in Germany, all the German civilian workers that drank (which was a ton of them) were able to have two beers at lunch at the cantina. Germany was a trip. |

Actually I worked at Marriott for 10 years and when I was in DC my hotel was union and you were allowed two 12 ounce beers at lunch per union rules.

| Re: Drink or not to Drink No alcohol for me during work hours, I work in the public education sector. Back in my younger days installing telecom equipment in central offices I don't remember not being drunk.
