| Re: Student kills himself after gay sex footage put online That's really messed up. There was similar story yesterday on the radio of a teen killing himself because he was gay and was bullied. If I was related to these kids I am holding those people responsible accountable with a sawed off shotgun.

| Re: Student kills himself after gay sex footage put online i dont see the bullying here at all. invasion of privacy, yes. bullying? no going from the article info only, it seems the student who killed himself did so b/c of the embarrasment he felt b/c there was a gay sex live video of him that his roommate did by turning on his webcam from another students room when his gay roommate asked for privacy from 9:30 to 12. there was no name calling, no direct face to face confrontation or even hate. just one college guy saying "i dare anyone to click on chat right now for my webcam from 9:30 to 12". this is alot like american pie, except it was gay sex. to be honest, i would ask to be moved to a different room b/c i wouldnt feel comfortable knowing my roommate is having gay sex in my dorm room for hours at a time from 9:30 to 12 twice in one week.

Student A tells student B he needs the room for a few hours. student B records it on his webcam. and i dont believe by just posting on your twitter "i dare you to click on my chat (whatever) right now" constitutes bullying. ss- honestly itd be a bit of both for me. seems like a simple case of invasion of privacy, if that. definetly poor judgment and a prank gone wrong but i dont see how this is bullying. what if it was sex between a guy and girl? would that be considered cyberbullying aswell? i dont think so.

| Re: Student kills himself after gay sex footage put online The content of the tweets isn't the issue, it's the intent. The intent to humiliate and embarrass this kid. If it was a guy and a girl, sure it could be considering bullying as well. |
