If you're bent on using IE, download Firefox and the IE extension for it and you'll be OK. There are other browsers that kick the panties off of IE. Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari.

Only on my uni's labs because it somehow never remembers my history and whatnot, when I'm watching streams on vShare, or when I don't really want to see a gigantic blob of tabs to wait for in the better browser I use more often. I usually use SRWareIron, which is a Chromium spinoff. Firefox has the best address bar though.

You can set firefox to not save browsing history, cookies, etc....

You can also set it in private-browsing mode.....

As already mentioned, I usually use SRWare Iron on my own comp. It's essentially Chrome without the privacy issues, whatever they may be.
