I guess he was serious about not wanting them to make a big deal about his birthday.

Actually, Deseal, if someone else had a gun on them, he would have only killed one or two people before he got knocked off...lack of guns is what enables these big killing sprees to become big.

Are you as puzzled as I am as to why people aren't allowed to buy bazookas and hand grenades. to defend themselves and their property?

Not sure why you mentioned bazookas. They are anti tank weapons.

If everyone had a bazooka, criminals would think twice about rolling up on my lawn with a tank.

I'm good though - I got the roof mounted 50 cal working for me. I did, unfortunately, take out our mailman with a landmine. My bad - hey, I live in the city and it's a jungle out there!
