Video geeks have tested hdmi cables across the board. A monster cable vs. a generic one (bought on monoprice) showed absolutely no visual difference in quality when watching blu-rays. You can search through forums like AVS for confirmation.

Why the hate? A standard monster hdmi cable may run you anywhere from 30-40 bucks. A cable from monoprice is around two. The monster markup is beyond ridiculous.

itvnetop bringing the heat! That's a perfect rundown of it. Only idiots think monster cables are worth the markup.

No, it's a matter of not wanting to see people get ****ed over AND enjoying a little schadenfreude when the clowns doing the ****ing go down.

They seem like a completely company owned run business.
yeah, they can see each other's inventories, but you can't be at the springfield BB and reserve something in stock at the tyson's one. I ran into that problem years ago and was told it was a franchise store and they had different owners. fwiw.

Re: Worst Buy

I prefer HH Gregg, Newegg and Crutchfield.

Only things I remember ever buying from Best Buy were a prepaid phone and a TV stand.
