| Re: What's the stupidest show you have ever gotten hooked on? Not sure I'd call the Hoarders shows stupid. Disturbing - yes. Back in the day you just called those people packrats. Kinda scary to look back now and see my grandparents were really hoarders. Not to the extent that you see on these shows, but in the ballpark to a degree. |

One was cutting off the end of the toothpaste tube to find another week's worth of toothpaste inside. I doubt I'll do it but the guy is right...impossible to get it all out. Anyone see the one where the guy took his family out to their annual dinner out to a buffet and paid for 3 people...when there were 6 eating. He stacked up 3 plates and brought them back for everyone to share. His wife was super-pissed and made him pay for 3 more people. He paid the $85 bill in all coins...and not all quarters. He picks up spare change and saves in a trash bag to take his family out to a "nice dinner" once a year. His wife was already ticked that he took them to a buffet and not a really nice restaurant like she was expecting...then he tried to steal food! He lived in Oakland. This guy had a decent idea that my wife wants to try. When you make pasta, take the hot water outside and dump it on some weeds to scald and kill them. He hates the idea of wasting water down a drain. Hey, if it works...they'll probably just grow back though since he doesn't pull the weeks out by the roots.

| Re: What's the stupidest show you have ever gotten hooked on? I came across an episode of "Moonshiners" and could not turn my head away. I was watching the tweets at the bottom of the screen and I couldn't tell who was crazier between the characters on the show and the people tweeting in.
