| Re: Is Winning That Important?! You know, I blame the kid who actually threw the ball about .00001% in this case. He dosent even know any better, especially if the coach told him to do it. That guy is pretty much a peice of garbage. You have to love these stories of these MLB wannabe coaches, making kids do rediculous things in freaking TEE BALL, so that they win. Unreal.

| Re: Is Winning That Important?! it's too bad the cops got ahold of him. if i'm the kid's dad, i beat him to within an inch of his life with a blunt object. that is absolutely sick for him to even think of this, and just because the kid is 8, doesn't mean he doesn't know any better. i'd hope that when I have kids, he knows right from wrong and would talk to me about this before going through with it.

| Re: Is Winning That Important?! That sickens me. Im sure the parents of the victim has had to go through alot to attempt to make their child's life as normal as possible, but most of all happy. I cant imagine how disheartening that would be as a parent to have someone you entrust your child to to solicit an injury by another kid in the spirit of competitiveness in 8yr old tee ball. My heart really goes out to that kid and his family, but I'm sure that made the news and I'm sure if that idiot is locked up he's getting what he deserves and then some. |

| Re: Is Winning That Important?! In tee ball in most areas they don't even keep score(thats a whole topic in its self). This guy should be locked up and throw away the key. I have a friend who's child has down sendrom and its all they can do to try and have him leed as normal life. If this would have happened to his child that guy would be better off in jail. |
