| There's "heroic effort", and then there is heroic effort There's way too much use of "heroic efforts" to describe NFL players these days. This is what I would call a heroic effort - someone who does what they are told they lack the ability to do. It's just unfortunate that there is always someone in the crowd that is working against them. Quote:
