Re: Eight QBs and Where The Latest Rumors Have Them Going
IMO Indy takes Orton trades 1st pick to Cleveland for there (2) 1st & 3rd & next yr 1st, Cleveland takes Luck, St. Lou drafts RGIII & we get Bradford.
I don't think Luck's Dad would allow him to go to such a bad franchise. Its simple, Lucks going to Indy, if not, he's coming here. |

This is a football forum, not a spelling bee. |

Can you really argue that we have been that much better of an organisation? |

Yes, I would think that would be a relatively easy argument to make. Although the last twenty years have been far less so, we are headed in the right direction once again...... |

Yeah because Weeden is a hard name to spell. We're not talking about spelling Roethlisberger. |

Robert Griffin, QB, Baylor Scouting Report - 2012 NFL Draft Prospect
Many will want to compare Griffin to Cam Newton, but this isn't a fair assessment. Griffin is shorter and lacks the bulk that Newton has. He has very thin legs and arms. Griffin is, of course, quicker and more agile, but he doesn't have the body to handle the abuse of scrambling often and absorbing hits. Has magic escapability and adds an extra dimension with his legs. Makes something out of nothing, keeping defenders off balance and forcing poor angles because of his jets. Very good patience, vision and instincts as a runner with football toughness ? more than simply a track athlete. Has a lean frame and only adequate height. Not frail, but doesn?t have the body type to withstand a consistent beating. Has more straight-line speed than shifty burst and has added 20+ pounds since his peak as a track star. Has some ball security questions as a runner with several fumbles on his r?sum?. Holds the ball too long and takes unnecessary hits, getting beat up physically ? strong durability concerns and suffered a serious knee injury in 2009.
WalterFootball.com: 2012 NFL Draft: Quarterback Rankings
Griffin is not the biggest player, but there is no doubt that he has toughness
Yea I love making this itshay up. In the mean time I'll try to find more of my made up comment. ;) |

Of recent? No. But our franchise has history, we have a better built team than they do, we are a better market, we are closer to his home in WV, he was born here in DC, Cleveland isn't appealing money wise either. |

Should I change it to Mallett? Seriously though, it's more a guess than any "inside info" but my guess is kind of rooted on other info. And anyway, I can't shake the feeling that we're going to make a run at Hoyer. I know that Mike Shanahan is a big fan. What I don't know is what Kyle thinks of him. But there are a lot of teams out there that really do believe very strongly in Hoyer |
