Big winner today? Kendall Wright and his 4.43 40, erasing his slow time at the Combine.

I definitely prefer RG3 over Luck. While I think the Colts will draft Andrew Luck, I don't think it's a 100% lock.

People it's a pro day. Everyone should look good throwing in shorts and tee shirts. John Beck would look good at a pro day. But I do hope the Colts don't change their mind. I think RG3 is just what this orgainization needs.

I look at it this way, only someone like Griffin could take the greatest QB prospect in 2 or 3 decades and give people pause. Of course Luck's pro day will be tomorrow, everyone will be wowed and suddenly it'll go back from "settling for Luck" to settling for RG3."

[quote=mbedner3420;902262]Is it sad that when you mention James Brown all I can think of is the Eddie Murphy 'too hot for the hot tub' snl sketch?

I had completely forgotten that video clip. Freaking hilarious. SNL hasn't been as funny since. I recall his bit about being the 5th Beatle, Clarence, who was ripped off by the other band members. Also a classic.

Everybody is in love with RGIII but don't underestimate Luck, he will impress as much as RGIII. I would be happy with either one, no reason to be bummed out if RGIII gets drafted by the Colts.

RG3 looked like an NFL quarterback working under center. He was able to make all of the throws like everyone expected. He dropped back to pass, and made hit his throws. He was able to roll out and then make the throws. I'm sure Mike Shanahan was pleased with what he saw.

I have been thinking about that as well. Get a little panicky...seeing the potential with these guys......

I was worried about the Colts taking RG3 but if the sentaments are the same from the ownership then I think we are fine....

It was just a pro day, I don't know how you can determine that from throwing in shorts and T-shirts. John Beck looked good in this system in the preseason in shorts and T-shirts.

I didn't watch the tryout so I have some questions:

1- Was RGIII being pressured while making the throws?
2- How was the tryout conducted?
3- Did he have to do the same things as the combine?

workout was about an hour and he wasn't really pressured on many throws but he did make every single pass that u can make pretty much, also under center for many and a wonderful Deep Ball and accuracy.
