right more invasive surgery, that's what is needed. Paging Dr. Nick.
a scope isnt a surgery. a "scope" means making a tinnie tiny incision and sticking a tinnie tiny camera through the incision to see what is going on . . i could be completely wrong. |
Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 2.0
I just see RG3 being very rusty in the passing game the first few weeks. He's missed a ton of reps and getting his timing down with the wr's.

If he has no swelling, soreness, or instability, scoping the knee would be a bit over the top don't you think? The ESPN documentary should help shed some light on what he went through in rehab. After that I don't think there will be any questions about where his knee is at. |

I'd put good money on him coming out week 1 like he hasn't missed a beat. |

Look at this report that Peter King did that someone already posted. Listen to what he says, I completely saw the samething in camp. He was making all the throws, no limp, he sprinting and throwing on the run. He will start Week 1 no doubt |

scope in medical terms means to take a look. fluroscopy or fluroscopic guidance = procedure done while viewing through a live xray arthroscopic/arthroscopy = procedure done while viewing through a tiny camera the term "arthroscopic surgery" is loosely used to mean that the doctor looked into a joint via arthroscopy and then cleaned up any scar tissue/chipped cartilage (debridement) but "arthroscopic" is not its own type of surgery or procedure. really besides the point though and im dont care either way. |

Hopefully just a sprain and no ligament damage.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 2.0
I dont know if anyone was there, but camp got crushed by thunderstorms today. I was on my way there about 1:30 when I got caught on the Shocko Valley Bridge when the rain started crushing the road. Heard from a friend it was a total clusterf*ck getting out.

Technically a sprain is ligament damage. :cheeky: I knew what you mean, just had to tease ya. |
Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 2.0
Shanny reported in his news conference that Thomas had nothing seriously injured as in a facture or ligament damage according to Kliem at espn

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 2.0
I was under the impression that a scope also involved sucking out any super small bone fragments, swelling etc.
