Atlanta has beaten the other teams in the NFC East. I don't know that Gruden won't have his share in a loss, but realistically, we just aren't as good a team as Atlanta is right now. Their strongest weapon is pointed straight at our weakest defensive link... Even still, I would love us to pull off the upset.
Atlanta was a double digit loser last year...yes playing well off the bat, hell, ESPN is running an article today calling them a Super Bowl contender after 4 games. Yes qb and receiver are awesome and that's big. I'd say they are better, obviously do to their record. Talent on defense? Meh. Oh Vic Beasley has shut up the doubters...quick too. Guy is good. Oline? Meh. We should be able to move them around.

Our biggest problem will be handling their passing game...tall order. Can't give up the big plays...Trent Robinson/goldson need to rebound from poor games last week. Can't let Matt Ryan stand tall in the pocket...got to move him
Many , if not most held the same opinion about the R's and the Eagles as well.......
Atlanta is a better quality team, but. Any Sunday..............
That's why we play the game!
Thank you Herm
Doesn't crackrockn ric sound pissed we won last week? Sounds like he rather be in here ball washing Jay gruden in the face of deserved criticism.
wow just thought, what if they have Polumbus Chester and Hankerson as their offensive captains at the toin coss. OH NOOOOO
Polumbus is with Denver now, Raheem Morris, Bobby Turner, Matt LaFleur and Terry Robiskie are assistant coaches and Kyle.

Atlanta's D is nothing like the other teams we played, we can contain their running game, the passing game is what worries me. Lots of pressure on Ryan to rattle him is what needed and controling the clock.

as far as me saying we will not beat atlanta..does not mean i don't want us to! truth is we had almost over 2 to 1 time possession advantage over Filly and still only won the game at the buzzer..think that will happen at falcons? Eagles are in trouble and almost won that game..Am I wrong ?? we lost to giants and a lot of you were calling out Gruden big time..we came within 2 plays of losing sunday to a bad eagles team ..news flash the Giants are way better than eagles . I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high and looking at things realistic..

If our secondary plays like last week, we won't win, period. And that's it honestly.. we need to send an extra man sometimes as well, cuz we will get burned without constant pressure, Atl is one of the top passing attacks in the game. We have to play better at the d back position

The Eagles beat the Jets and gave the Falcons a good game in Atlanta. Rams have beaten the Cards and Seahawks. Anything can happen, but if Reed and DJax are out, we're in trouble.

I always thought that between Kyle Shanahan and Jim Haslett, we let go a good coordinator and kept a bad one.

I hope Culliver playing hurt was the reason he got burnt multiple times last week. So far he hasn't been as good as advertised.

I, honestly, see the atl game as a trap game for atl. I could see us pulling it out because atl thinks they will bowl over us. That's my wishful thinking, at least.

Beating Atlanta is secondary in importance. The most important thing is that we are playing hard and developing as a team and as individual players. A win against Atlanta would be great but a loss wouldn't bother me as long as we continue to progress.

I can't say this enough: We are in Year 1 of a three-year build. That should be your frame of reference when discussing this team.
If the run kept their defense honest in the pass game, then it was working. Had Jay not ran in that last drive, we never go 90 yards and lose the game. We dont have Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers, if defenses do nothing but play pass against us, we dont have a QB on the roster that is going to win games with just the passing game.
Disagree. I think Kirk did and will win you games with his arm. He also might lose you a game with a pick late, but that part of growth process with a young QB.

I could see that too. I don't think they were as bad as 6-10 last year, but they aren't as good as people are proclaiming this year. One draft doesn't suddenly make them world beaters.
