Lots of people were on the field to attend to the injured player. Obviously, the ref's didn't see it as a problem or they would have flagged him.

Cincy has a bunch of immature, undisciplined players and it cost them BIG.
They've shown they have no Mental Toughness.

wtf ever happened to 'stick & stones will break my bones, but names will never hurt me'?

These little boys have to learn to grow the fuck up and get some mental toughness.

There should be some major blood-letting after this debacle and more than just the coach. Hold the millionaire players accountable as well.

I agree that it's ultimately on the players so let me get that portion out of the way. That said...

They aren't supposed to be on the field. In an emotionally charged game, the refs have to fucking know better than allow Porter (a LB coach) onto the field for any reason. There is a direct and specific rule about it that the refs fucked up yet again. Sure the Bengals had to know better, but the refs surely didn't call the game equally on a PF standpoint.

As far as the Shazier no call on Bernard. According to the rule book, leading with the helmet is a foul regardless.

Rule 9-1-3:

No player shall target and initiate contact against an opponent with the crown (top) of his helmet. When in question, it is a foul.
Why wasn't Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier penalized for a hit that appeared to knock out Bengals running back Giovani Bernard?

In short, Shazier should have been.
So glad I just recorded the 2nd game last night and took my girlfriend out. That game was definitely not worth getting in a fight over. Especially since its guys day today. My boy is a Vikings fan. Watching first game with him in beautiful Ocean Beach, CA.

Lol Sd I don't blame you.

Viks 20 hawks 17 in the upset.
Wilson will throw 2 Ints.

That's how it generally is. That's why it's better to have a good/great defense than some high scoring offense coming into the playoffs.

The Bengals are a bunch of losers. They have no one to blame but themselves. Burfect and Jones are two players with low character.

Looks like Minnesota is gonna settle for conservative play calls and kick field goals. This is gonna lead to a Russell Wilson comeback if it remains within 1 score
Earlier in the game S Reggie Nelson got into a scuffle with Steelers coach Mike Munchak. Bengals have no discipline team wide and Marvin Lewis is ultimately responsible.
Can't believe he pulled Nelson's hair. That was awful and Munchak should be fired.

Seattle looks miserable in that cold. Even Wilson is way off today

I still can't believe shaizer got away with a clear crown of helmet hit. They should have an option if they review a play, within that review there is an option to throw a flag if there is unnecessary roughness or personal foul.

That was poor by the refs...

I don't care what anybody says, it requires a lot of luck to win sometimes, and Seattle has a rabbit's foot in their pocket for sure.
