Ah yes I missed that, thanks
I guess we just have to root against the
Lions here on out.
That sounds a lot better than saying we have to root for the Cowboys to win tonight. That will be two weeks in a row rooting for the Cowboys, yuck! |
Re: Playoff hunt!
I think the best scenario for us would be for Detroit to lose to Dallas this week and beat GB next week, assuming that we beat the NYG in our final game. Then, in the playoffs, we would face Matthew Stafford who has an injured finger on his throwing hand rather than the red hot Aaron Rodgers. Also, we would play indoors in Detroit rather than on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field.

Re: Playoff hunt!
Assuming Detriot loses tonight, they have incentive against GB next week right?
Also, Happy Holidays you magnificent bastards. |

Re: Playoff hunt!
We wouldn't even have to be talking about scenarios if these dopes had handled business this past Monday night. Still not over that shit showing of an effort.

Re: Playoff hunt!
Easier just to have Detroit go 0-2. That is more likely than them beating the Pack indoors. The
Pack is peaking and Detroit seems to have stagnated. The Lions have to get back into mid season form to win that game. |

I am with you on that. That is why I am not so sure they deserve the playoffs, but then again, half of these playoff teams are just backing into the playoffs as well. We can beat the G-Men, but our defense better be fired up!!!!! |

The one that burns me is the tie to Cincy, we should have won that damn game. |

I think if we even had close to an average kicker we would have. Isn't Hopkins #1 in the NFL for missed kicks this year? |

Hopkins cost us 2 maybe 3 games this year. We could be 10 - 5 if Hopkins has a better season. If we get in as the 6th seed, shouldn't we play the 3rd seed. I thought we would play the Seahawks in Seattle. Dallas and Atlanta will have week one off; 3 plays 6, 4 plays 5. Giants will play Lions or GB, We play Seattle. If we had gone 10 - 6 or 11 - 5 would our opinion of the Joe Barry be different? Would we have a more positive outlook going into the playoffs. |
Re: Playoff hunt!
I'd rather Detroit get in but they won't. Gb is playing great ball right now

That being said, i think you bring in another leg in training camp next year and if Hopkins struggles you release him, but at least give him another off-season to see if he gets better.. |
The Buccaneers have not been eliminated just yet. In addition to a Week 17 win, Tampa Bay needs the Cowboys to beat the Lions, the Buccaneers to beat the Panthers, the Colts to beat the Jaguars, the Cowboys to beat the Eagles, the Lions to beat the Packers, the Titans to beat the Texans, the 49ers to beat the Seahawks and, finally, the Redskins and Giants to tie. There’s still a chance!
I had expected it to come down to us and Tampa, I'm shocked to see GB playing so well. |

Imagine witnessing it live. During your first ever live game. While already taking a victory selfie with a random redskins fan. It. Hurts. Arg. |
