If they keep grinding, the all time single season record for highest 3rd down percentage completed is ours. In a semi-related note, we're down to #31 in the ESPN rankings. In two weeks we get to go head to head with Miami for the crown. |

Bengals, Dolphins and Skins will be drafting in the top 3. Hell we might as well open the 20 draft thread.

This is why we need Kevin O'Connell OC calling plays and playing Haskins to see what we have. |

And the other 13% the other team goes for it on 4th down and converts. |
Re: How Low Can We Go? Redskins @ Giants Postgame Thread
internet says 63% ... 83% would not be surprising though.
https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-third-down-conversion-pct 2018 Bengals 49% 2017 Tampa 48% 2016 Skins 46% 2015 Giants 46% 2014 Falcons 46% By seasons end, I imagine we end up around 47% range. |

Completion percentage is the percentage of forward passes that are complete on third down (which would include completions short of the first down}. Conversion percentage is the percentage of third down plays that resulted in a first down, whether passing or running. |
