I would agree, but stats trump subjectivity when we're quantifying overall production.

I hate cheering for Philly, but I have McNabb going in my fantasy semi-final. Just threw another one to Desean Jackson. They made it look easy on that opening drive.

Yeah, it's going to be a very long day for Cutler.

Who would have thought Cribbs' two KO returns of 100+ yards wouldn't be the highlight of the game? What a day for Jerome Harrison! 286 yards rushing and 3 TDs. Browns with only 66 yards passing. Their wins always come on dreadful passing performances

Sanchez had 3 Picks. I think Jay "Pickman" Cutler can beat that.

I was debating someone on here (forget whom) earlier this year Cribbs v. Leon Washington. They favored Washington, I thought Cribbs was/is the best return man in football.

At times they do but we will just have to agree that stats don't tell the whole story but neither does subjectivity its a mix of both.

Was it? For some reason I thought it was Schneed.

Meanwhile our boy Cutler is having another stellar performance today.
9/23 90 yds. 2 int.

He's really awful. It's pretty amazing actually. What's he have 25 INTs now? Anyone know what the single season record is? He's got to be approaching it.

I think Blanda had 42 one year. I could be mistaken though. But Jay has a ways to go.

On a related note, isn't it weird how we've had fans on this site stick up for Portis, Cutler, and now Roy Williams.

Cutler was benched today for some dude named Haine. LOL.

So many great games today. What a treat. RedZone Channel is my friend.

Gus Johnson is hilarious. He's the most excitable man in all of sports broadcasting.

Yeah he had 42 in the 60s, thats like 3 a game in a 14 game season. There must be a story there right?
Yeah he had 42 in the 60s, thats like 3 a game in a 14 game season. There must be a story there right?
During 1962, he had two 400-yard passing days for the Oilers: a 464-yard effort against the Buffalo Bills on October 29, with four touchdown passes (winning 28-16); and 418 yards three weeks later against the Titans of New York, this time with seven touchdown passes in a 49-13 victory. Blanda passed for 36 touchdowns that season. On 13 occasions, he connected on four or more touchdown passes during a game, and on November 1, 1964, unleashed 68 passes for Houston against the New York Titans.

George Blanda - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

thats what wiki had to say about the season he threw 42 ints, he also threw 36 td's including 7 in one game
