Fully retarded.

Apparently the Browns are benching their starting LT this weekend too.

Bruce Allen is an idiot. He thinks he can get a better trade for TW in the offseason than he can now when teams are desperate. As long as BA is making personnel decisions this team will be handicapped with his buffoonery.

If management were competent, do you think we could get a first and Denzel Ward out of the Browns for TW and Josh Norman?

Sources: The #Redskins are now open to dealing star LT Trent Williams. They have begun the process of looking at potential suitors, and the #Browns have been one. Unclear how high they set the asking price, but they’ll at least listen.

Has Denzel Ward really fallen off that much from his rookie year? Seems like he is injured.

Apparently Redskins are now open to trading Williams away.. Let's hope Redskins will not give away Williams for a rotten ham sandwich.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal

My hot take ...

Bruce waited until the day before Trent would report and start getting pay checks so he could cost Trent as much money as possible. He didnt care if waiting potentially screwed his value by taking the chance that interested teams in week 1 or 2 (ie Texans) would look else where and pull out of the Trent talks.

This assumes he actually trades Trent.

I also strongly believe a new team has to extend Trent and that may water the deals down. Trent wants out of here but he wants a new contract w new guaranteed money going past 2020 as well.

The Redskins have begun the process of ascertaining interest across the league. And I'm told the asking price, for right now (and this is obviously subject to change), is a first-round pick.

Could the Redskins trade Trent Williams? Definitely. But the price is high and sources tell me the team might want a playmaker in return, not just about draft picks. Trying to give Haskins weapons.

Are the Browns even hungry now like they were 2-3 weeks ago?

Theyre 2-5 and look like they have more problems than just LT ... they may want to step back and chill now.

Bruce may have fucked that up.

There is no win in any scenario at this point. Teams with anticipated high draft picks are going to wait on the draft, and contenders aren't going to give up a valuable player in exchange for TW.

I'll wait and see what the exchange (if it even happens is)

At least Bruce pulled his head out of his ass and is listening to offers now.

A first and Ward. That is what I want at this point (I know it won't happen).

Bruce Allen should be the first to go.
