Joe a lot of your ranting could have been in the bad news thread. Let's make sure we are using the proper threads.
=)
I'll give you the overheating car was legitimately "Bad News" material. The lazy employee, inconsiderate neighbor, and idiotic client, however, were all serious gear grinders. Do your job, cut me some slack and f***ing think!! Is that too much to ask of people? |

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
Remember the client who carefully checked and double checked things last week?
He just found another 200 pages of "oops" documents. <Banging Head> |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
This isn't really a gear-grinder, but it is a slight annoyance of mine.
People who misuse the phrase "begs the question." Listen, and right now I'm looking at you, Rich Tandler, "begs the question" does not mean "raises the question" or "asks the question." It simply refers to a circular argument. See better definition here. (And no, I did not create that website. :D) |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
What grinds my gears? The sensitive ass people that unfriend you on facebook because you question the validity of a moronic post they make, which ends up being completely false. So many morons, so little time. Good riddance.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
Ughhhhh. For the last 2 days when I pull up ESPN.com, around 50% of the time a naked Prince Fielder is just staring at me. That is just foul

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
chico - just dont make eye contact and try to look down a lot.
i want to get out ahead of the curve of hate on this one - those crab car decals colored-in as the maryland flag. seemingly overnight they are everywhere. i saw one on a delaware license plate car yesterday. dela - freakin - ware. i blame under armor for making the maryland flag now a trendy color scheme. you wanna show some true maryland pride on your car - slap on an Os bird, the natty boh guy and a wtmd decal and be done with it. |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
People that are in a big rush to pass you on the highway, only to then move over in front of you and then proceed to slow down causing you to have to pass them, then a mile down the road here comes guess who passing you again. Rinse and repeat.

classic distracted driver by a hand held device. by slowing down to 40 in a 65 mph zone, they dramatically reduce the dangers of driving and texting. giant - i dont travel that 29 mile stretch of 95 often but that is they worst, slowest highway construction i have ever seen. started in 2012, they are saying it will be completed by end of 2014. Maybe people are just impatient, but I'd rather take the necessary time to have the work done right. I don't think it's going to improve traffic that much but maybe some of the more wealthier people won't mind paying to use the toll road, which would definitely help my commute. |
