Pacman is one of the reasons I think Mike Vick is not going to do much this season.

Once your stagnant for too long your elite edge starts to wear off. Vick can throw but I just don't think he'll be the running threat many think he'll be.

I agree. Pacman was nowhere near the player last year that he was before.

Perhaps Vick was just hesitant but he looked less quick last week. I saw video of the "old" Vick and there was a clear difference. He still has a cannon arm, though.

And while we're at it...Michael Irvin to NFL Network

So basically they traded Michael Irvin for Adam Shefter. I know they play different positions and all, but still.

Since we're hijacking this thread, I think John "Chucky" Gruden is doing a nice job on MNF.

Gruden is all man...that deep raspy man voice can fill the man vacancy of Madden's departure.

Though Gruden will have to come up with his own imaginary animal to roast and hand out to exceptional players on Thanksgiving.

Well, it was LaCanfora for Schefter really.

So NFL Network loses Schefter and adds JLC and Irvin? Fail.

Agreed about Mr. Gruden. He adds much more to the broadcast than Kornheiser. He and Jaws seem to be playing well off each other. It's a nice mix of perspectives they put together- very good coach, former very good (and smart) player, and an excellent play by play guy in Tirico.

I wanted to hear Jaws say "play on playa" or Gruden say "ridonkulous" when AP ripped that 75 yard run.

I think MNF has the right mix this group. Chucky will only get better and more comfy with the role. So far he seems to have the right balance.

I watch NFL Network everyday and I've only seen him doing some appearances here and there. Is he there full time now during the season? I have to admit he is AWESOME on TV. The Countdown show is good but it's not the same w/ out Irvin.

For me its the opposite, I cant stand someone that needs to yell to get their point across. ALTHOUGH, I would watch him and Sean Salisbury debate football, since they both like to scream, that might be pretty entertaining.
