Great summary of the skins 2000s

Oh yea...thats my place! I grew up like 5 minutes from there in Philly. Best in the world. Thier trick that seperated them from the other good places in Philly was that they use liquid american cheese. They slather that on the roll instead of slices or cheese wiz like the other places use. So good...they put that cheese on the fries also. I need a road trip...
I think it's all about fulfilling your needs. I think sometimes it's easy to get caught up in, "WOW that guys fantastic!" Yes he might be an upgrade at his position, but does that position need to be upgraded as much as another? Is it a large upgrade that would make a difference in wins and losses? And do you ignore your greatest needs by taking this guy? Sometimes you're stuck and have to take BPA, but if at all possible, trade down and address your needs. When you have the same needs year after year, somethings wrong with the way you're drafting.[/QUOTE]

True, also in our case something was wrong w/decisions being made about drafts, i.e. trading picks that seriously hindered the team's ability to address needs.

Pick by pick I think the skins have actually drafted fairly well in the danny era, it's just been a problem of burning picks for little return, see B Loyd, J. Taylor, TJ Duckett, even the Champ trade.

You had to bring up the TJ Duckett trade. I've almost forced myself to forget about it. Perhaps, one of the worst trades we've ever made. Uggg. I just can't see us making any of those stupid trades any more.

and i'm also interested in knowing what this earth-shattering news is that Larry Michaels wants us all to be excited about. So far, i've heard nothing, so i'm assuming that nothing of import is happening or will be announced at Redskins park today.

OMFG, LOL, the love fest starts again. I think every year this is said about them throught media land and they never live up to their billing. All the pain we go through right now hearing how Dallas is the next SB champs becomes a second Christmas when they get knocked out or don't make the play offs. It's like the silence is defening. :)

I just want to call those people up and say...."hello, so when are you gunna talk about Dallas now that they screwed up and are out?" "Didn't you pick them to go all the way?"

I'm happy to say it though, as long as they have Romo they won't go all the way. Romo is like our Campbell. They have both OL and DL in place but don't have a decent QB or WR. They might be at the top of our division next year since they have kept their team mostly in tact but that's part of their problem.

Then I guess Wade Phillips is their Wayne Fontes/Richie Kotite too?

Unless you heard something different...Trent Dilfer said he thought the Cowboys are the best team in football (when focused) and it's a realistic expectation on Jerry Jones' part that they be the first team to ever "host" a Super Bowl.

One person. One person out of 6,000 some employees. He didn't even say they would win it, just that it's realistic for them to be there
